All proxy services are performed by certified Islamic scholars who reside in Makkah, hold formal qualifications in Islamic jurisprudence and have already completed their own Umrah and Hajj obligations.

Proxy pilgrimage can be performed on behalf of a deceased Muslim, an elderly person physically unable to travel, someone with a permanent illness or disability, or a person who passed away before completing a pilgrimage they had vowed to perform.

Before beginning the rituals our scholar makes a clear Niyyah (intention) using the full name of the person on whose behalf the Umrah or Hajj is being performed. Dua is also made with their name at the Kaaba.

Badal Umrah is the proxy performance of the lesser pilgrimage which can be performed at any time of year. Badal Hajj is the full proxy pilgrimage performed only during Dhul Hijjah and carries a greater obligation especially if the deceased had the means to perform Hajj themselves.
