THTamim Hasan
Tamim Hasan is the founder and CEO of Badal Umrah LTD, a Saudi-registered service that arranges Badal Umrah, Badal Hajj and charity in Makkah on behalf of Muslims around the world. He began this work offline in 2018 and brought it online in January 2026 so that more families could reach a trusted team in Makkah.
The Story Behind Badal Umrah
Tamim is from Betka, Munshiganj, in Bangladesh. In 2018 he began arranging Badal Umrah offline, working with trusted people in Makkah to perform Umrah for Muslims who had passed away (such as a deceased mother) or could no longer travel because of age or illness (such as an elderly parent).
Families kept asking the same questions: Was the Umrah really performed? Who performed it? Was it done correctly? Badal Umrah LTD was built to answer them with qualified scholars in Makkah, a clear process and video proof for every booking. In January 2026 the service moved online so that families in the UK, USA, Bangladesh, the Gulf and beyond could book it directly. Families in Bangladesh can also read our guide to Badal Umrah from Bangladesh (বাংলাদেশ থেকে বদলি উমরাহ).
“Every booking is someone’s mother, father or loved one. We treat each Umrah as a trust (amanah) and show the family exactly what was done.”
